This is a fresh, sustainable design which takes the classic ‘gun-barrel’ corridor of a Victorian weatherboard and turns it into an empowering element.
The design works with the long narrow site to create a smooth and seamless layout. No space is wasted. Even so, the feel is generous, warm, and light with a focus on connecting the new living space to the delightful, private rear garden.
Attention to detail and a highly sustainable approach (passive design features, a full roof of solar pv, water tanks, double glazing, high level insulation, super energy efficient fireplace, natural materials and low VOC products) results in a clever, cost effective and beautiful family home.
